Fiona Hudson-Kelly, founder of Smart Assessor, has taken ownership of BPIF Training


The BPIF has announced that the sale of BPIF Training to Fiona Hudson-Kelly has been completed. Ms Hudson-Kelly is widely recognised across the apprenticeship sector as the founder of Smart Assessor, one of the leading software platforms supporting apprenticeship training providers. The decision was taken after careful consideration by the BPIF Board of Directors and Management, and refl ects BPIF Training’s strength


as a high-performing, regulated training provider. Charles Jarrold, chief executive for the


BPIF, said: “BPIF Training has built an excellent reputation as a provider of high- quality apprenticeships and training, and under Fiona’s leadership it will have the independence and investment capacity to go further.”


The sale of BPIF Training will allow the BPIF to concentrate its resources on its core membership and business services activities. The BPIF has announced the that change of


ownership will not affect learners, employers or apprenticeship programmes, and measures are in place to support key functions including fi nance, HR and IT. Fiona Hudson-Kelly, owner and executive chair for BPIF Training, said: “One of the greatest strengths of BPIF Training is its exceptional leadership team and dedicated people. I look forward to meeting employers and learners across the industry and supporting the continued growth of BPIF Training.”


EDP Awards 2026 recognises Agfa’s Jeti Bronco H3300 HS


Agfa has been recognised at the EDP Awards 2026 with its Jeti Bronco H3300 HS hybrid printer taking home one of the industry’s most prestigious accolades.
