Solopress appoints new head of partnerships

Solopress has appointed Graham Hunstone as head of partnerships, strengthening the company’s focus on strategic collaboration and scalable print procurement for trade partners. Mr Hunstone joins Solopress with more than

30 years of experience across print production, print management, sales and commercial leadership.

His career has included senior roles across print production, software consultancy, operations and commercial leadership, including most recently founding and leading Visual Print and Design. At Solopress, Mr Hunstone will focus on

developing strategic relationships within the trade while simplifying procurement and improving efficiency for print managers, resellers and brokers. Mr Hunstone said: “After more than 30 years in the industry, and 16 years building

Visual Print and Design, I was looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to work with a larger business with ambitious plans for the future.

“What attracted me to Solopress was the combination of manufacturing capability, industry experience and the work being done around automation and partnership development.” Simon Cooper, CEO at Solopress, said:

“Having built and grown his own business, Graham understands the challenges many print companies are navigating as the market changes. “That perspective makes him a strong fit for a role centred on building long-term partnerships and developing closer collaboration across the print sector.”

Massive stars in record London Marathon

Massive’s floor graphics for Rainbow Row

Massive helped bring the energy to this year’s London Marathon, designing floor graphics for the annual race. The company used Alumigraphics Grip

from Soyang Europe, the vibrant decorations spurring on competitors taking part in the event on April 26. Massive was approached to decorate one of the most iconic sections of the route, Rainbow Row.

Located just after mile 21, Rainbow Row is a 250m stretch of the route created to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community and promote inclusivity. To fit in with this theme, Massive was

tasked by Proud Events to produce floor graphics to mark the start and end of this distinctive part of the race. With the heavy footfall, Massive identified the need for a material that could withstand this impact, while also not causing a trip hazard for competitors. Featuring a slip-resistant textured surface, Alumigraphics Grip provides safe and reliable performance in high-traffic areas without the need for additional lamination, while it can be removed cleanly without heat or chemicals.

Ross Slaughter said: “Our client was very

happy with the install; we have only had positive feedback from the organisers.”
