The new chief operating offi cer at the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA) is Tony Gilbert. Tony previously worked as a consultant for BESA and has extensive experience in management consultancy, having served clients across a number of sectors, including government and aerospace.


Stelrad Radiators has made three key appointments within its sales team. Lewis Aird is now regional manager for the northern region, Sahil Patel (pictured) for the southern region, and Tom McGrory is country specifi cation manager for Scotland. Each will manage the operational aspects of the sales team.


MD for ADEY Commercial, Ian Roberts, has been named chair of the Water Treatment Group for the Industrial and Commercial Heating Equipment Association (ICOM) and the Manufacturers of Equipment for Heat Networks Association (MEHNA). Ian brings over 30 years of experience in the commercial heating industry to the role.


Daniel McGlinchey has been appointed as the new regional sales manager for the central region at Talon, covering the area around the Midlands. Bringing a wealth of experience in account management and business development, Daniel is set to strengthen Talon’s presence in the region and drive growth in 2025.


Kinedo has appointed two area sales managers: Chris Sherwood (pictured) for the central region and George Barber for the South West. Both are tasked with building brand awareness in showrooms and merchants and among installers, along with winning specifi cation deals to accelerate growth.


Alan Gordon has been appointed regional director for HVAC supplier Exi-tite Scotland. Alan joined the business in 2022 after nine years at Helios Ventilation to establish Exi -tite Scotland and was appointed regional sales manager for Scotland in January 2023. Last year, Alan helped Exi-tite to become the fi rst Passive House Institute certifi ed ventilation distributor in Scotland.

Two new brand managers have been appointed at Instantor and Tucson Pumps. Debbie Moloney, who has been part of the Instantor team for 12 years, has been promoted to the position of brand manager, Instantor, while April Jones (pictured) has been promoted to brand manager, Tucson Pumps and special projects.


LCL Awards has appointed Paul Matthews (pictured) as qualifi cations manager & external verifi er and Leon Lloyd as external quality assessor and technical specialist. Both former gas engineers, Paul will be looking to enhance plumbing and renewable qualifi cations, while Leon will support approved centres in London and the South East.
