Compact, dedicated pressure boosting solution

For installers looking for a compact, dedicated water tank to pair with the EsyBox Mini3, DAB offers the new EsyTank 300 Mini, a purpose-built potable water storage for smaller domestic and light commercial pressure-boosting jobs. Designed to store and supply

water in residential settings, the original EsyTank 500 has been a popular choice with users of the EsyBox, with its EsyDock for quick installation and its modular design that allowed additional tanks to be added on three sides. Until now, there has not been a dedicated tank for the EsyBox Mini3, leaving installers with fewer options when specifying compact pressure-boosting systems. Smaller in height than the

EsyTank 500, the EsyTank 300 can be used with both the EsyBox and the EsyBox Mini3, storing drinking water and boosting mains pressure for taps, showers, garden use and household appliances. It fits easily through smaller doors like those leading to cellars, and comes with all the accessories required for fast installation. It has a rectangular base for compact siting, a filling valve with float, overflow and the option for remote monitoring via DAB’s DConnect platform (allowing installers to check

Water heater for where safety is a priority

The Andris Elite WiFi electric storage water heater has been introduced by Ariston as the successor to the Andris Lux Eco and is designed for both domestic and light commercial use. It is particularly suited to settings where enhanced safety is a priority, such as healthcare facilities and care homes. Easy to install and maintain,

it provides a host of advantages including a new intuitive LED interface and smart connectivity via the Ariston Net app for

complete control and comfort. Featuring a sturdy titanium

enamelled tank, copper heating element and faster reheat times, the unit is highly efficient with an ‘A’ class ErP rating across all models. It also comes equipped with an anti-Legionella system,

eliminating the risk of Legionella bacteria developing and keeping the water healthy. It houses an additional ABS safety package with anti-freezing to ensure reliable heating even during colder months. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/75

Sinks that are suited for smaller kitchens

The Mio Compact is the newest entry to Clearwater’s range of granite sinks and is designed for use in smaller and secondary preparation areas. Offered in four configurations, including single and 1.5 bowl options, as well as a round bowl model, these sinks are designed to fit minimum cabinet widths of either 450 or 600mm, for flexibility in kitchen layouts. Each sink comes with a stainless

steel waste kit as standard, and customers have the option to upgrade to coloured waste fittings in finishes such as matt black, artisan brass or regency copper. The sinks are made from Quarex, a proprietary composite material developed by Clearwater that is resistant to scratches and heat up to 180°C. It also includes silver ion technology to reduce the growth of bacteria by up to 98%. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/76

Choice in aluminium

Termal and Oglio are two new aluminium radiators joining the line-up at The Radiator Company. Both have been designed to achieve the balance of modern sophistication and efficiency in two distinct aesthetics. The Termal features a sleek, semi-circular tube design

while the Oglio (pictured) showcases an angular tube design. Thanks to the excellent thermal properties of aluminium, which offers fast, responsive heating, and the ability to perform with lower water temperatures, these models work with renewable systems. Both the Termal and Oglio are available in multiple

heights and widths. The Termal comes in two heights (575 and 1,775mm) and seven widths (from 323 to 1,359mm). The Oglio has three height options (384, 584, and 1784mm) and seven widths (290 to 1,208mm). This allows designers and installers to specify the correct size radiator for a wide variety of spaces. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/73

system performance and receive alerts from anywhere). It comes in both a CAT 3 and CAT 5 version, which has an AB-type air gap system with auxiliary DN50 outlet to prevent contamination of the water supply. The launch of the EsyTank 300

Mini gives installers a compact, dedicated option for the EsyBox Mini3 without compromising on performance or flexibility. With compatibility now extended for both the EsyBox and EsyBox Mini3, specifying a complete, mains-boosting solution has been made much simpler. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/72

Heat pump upgrade

Mitsubishi Electric has announced that it will begin phasing out its Ecodan R32 heat pumps, which will be replaced by the extended next-generation Ecodan R290 range, marking the company’s continued commitment to low-carbon home heating solutions. As part of the company’s

ongoing product evolution, Mitsubishi launched the Ecodan R290 in October 2023 and in April this year it announced an extended range of R290 heat pumps. Originally available in 5 and 6kW, the new models now include 8.5, 10, and 12kW. These new heat pumps offer a low- carbon heating solution for larger homes and properties with higher heat loss. The Ecodan R290 builds on

the strengthens of the R32, while delivering enhanced performance. With a low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of just 0.002, the new heat pumps, manufactured in the UK and with Quite Mark accreditation, are an environmentally responsible choice for home heating. By utilising the natural

refrigerant R290, Mitsubishi says it is continuing its commitment

commercial environments where reliable performance is a must. Designed with installers

in mind, it offers practical benefits including flexible tails and a threaded fixing nut for straightforward fitting, and is available through Deva’s next- delivery service. Customers also benefit from

comprehensive aftercare support, readily available spare parts, and a robust warranty. This launch is part of a broader

expansion of the Deva portfolio, which also includes the Marbury 3-in-1 filter tap and the Clarity 3-in-1 pull-out mixer, both offering advanced functionality. ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/74

to sustainability, supporting the UK’s drive to net zero, while ensuring high performance and efficiency for homeowners. Joanna Crown, product

marketing manager, says: “Our Ecodan R32 range helped raise the bar for low-carbon heating. As the market evolves, the expanded range of Ecodan R290 heat pumps is designed to meet both future performance expectations and regulatory demands, while continuing to provide the quality and reliability that homeowners and installers expect from Mitsubishi.” ◼ phamnews.co.uk/725/77
