TECH DATA has struck a deal with Proofpoint to offer its enterprise-grade email security solutions. “Email protection is a vital element of perimeter defences for all organisations now. We have sales and technical resources primed and ready to support partners. We’ll be looking to work with existing partners and to bring on-board new partners, and to help them capitalise on the strong and growing reputation that Proofpoint has for providing rock-solid email protection,” said Alison Nixon, business unit director – security, UK and Ireland, at Tech Data. “Regardless of the level of sophistication, modern cyberattacks tend to share one common trait – they target the inbox. By delivering a holistic education, training and “in email” tags, partners will be able to support their customers with a unified Email and Awareness platform. Tech Data plans to launch Proofpoint’s enterprise portfolio including Insider Threat Management (ITM) solution, Security Service Edge and Email Data Loss Prevention (DLP) that help organisations mitigate the risk of data loss.

VIZIBL has launched its Supplier Sustainability Management module expanding its existing sustainability functionality. The addition of this Supplier Sustainability Management functionality combined by Vizibl’s existing Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Collaboration Workspace, and Supplier Innovation Hub enables organisations to focus on sustainability targets, collaboratively problem solve with their supplier ecosystems, open source innovation for sustainable transformation and business growth, and gain priority access to scarce green goods & services. Mark Perera, Vizibl CEO said: “With the majority of our impact on the planet and its people sitting in our supply chains, there is a growing appreciation of the enormity of the supplier

sustainability challenge – particularly around scope 3 emissions – amongst executives at enterprise organisations. Their teams face frequent stumbling blocks around data and processes, lacking the technology and the centralisation to make meaningful progress on their supplier sustainability initiatives. With this module we are not only providing easy access to CDP and SBTi data to support procurement and their colleagues, but we have built the infrastructure for effective measurement and target-setting with suppliers. This was a crucial step in empowering large enterprise organisations to accelerate their sustainability efforts, and builds on the partnership with leading supplier sustainability rating provider EcoVadis that we established in 2019.”
