Paul’s Cycles shares Growth Insight

INDEPENDENT retailer Paul’s Cycles has reported a remarkable 30% year-on-year revenue growth.

Speaking about 2024, Paul’s MD, Tom Thornley, is keen to share the company’s strategies for success when selling high-priced products in a tough economic climate. “We are very aware that many are struggling

to afford high-value products, and we have worked hard to align our purchasing and marketing strategies to ensure we can provide the best value items for our customers to continue growing our market share,” said Thornley. At the heart of the brand is a team of knowledgeable experts,

trained to guide customers through purchase decisions and offer tailored recommendations based on individual needs and budgets.

“Over the last year, we’ve been focusing

on product performance analysis and stra- tegic buying, leading us towards growing our market share in the adventure cycling categories, including mountain biking and gravel biking,” Thornley shares. Pauls tracks data closely through product performance, competitor benchmarking and digital engagement, understanding

customer feedback is key to spotting trends before they emerge in analytics.

“During the last 12 months we have forged new partner- ships with globally renowned brands like Trek bikes and have some exciting conversations lined up for 2025 with some major industry players to expand our premium product offerings,” he concludes.
