WBIA starts Sustainable Supply Chain Project
THE World Bicycle Industrial Association (WBIA) has officially validated the WBIA Sustainable Supply Chain (SSC) Operating Model during its General Assembly.
This model, initially introduced at
Taichung Bike Week 2024, is built around three key pillars: Education, Energy, and Ecodesign. The WBIA Board has reaffirmed that these pillars will guide the cycling industry toward a unified and sustainable future. TANDEM Group has announced a partnership with Dashel helmets, becoming the exclusive UK distributor for the brand. Dashel launched in 2017 with a mission
to produce attractive, eco-friendly helmets that meet the highest safety standards. Manufactured in Plymouth, Dashel
operates as a B Corp Certified company, exemplifying a commitment to sustainability by using renewable energy and implementing a zero-waste approach in its production process. Catherine Bedford, founder of Dashel, stated: “Partnering
with Tandem opens up an incredible opportunity to reach even more riders through a dedicated independent bike network. Ortlieb adds service dealers to repair network
