umours are circulating that another veteran UK studio is facing redundancies, if not complete closure. Meanwhile, over on LinkedIn, the guy who oversaw its re-establishment is bragging about all the world-class studios he helped acquire during his tenure, passing off the fact that half of them have since closed as "in line with market changes". I know blowing smoke up your own arse is par for the course on LinkedIn, but this is some next-level stuff. To make matters worse, he was announcing the founding of his own new studio, highlighting the fact that in these dark times he was able to find the money to set one up easily enough, but not to sustain those he was previously responsible for. Well done! Great job! The cycle begins anew. Good lord.
