SONIC SYMPHONY WORLD TOUR

The worldwide symphonic celebration of Sonic the Hedgehog and his ongoing adventures kicked off its world tour with two shows in London. Those in attendance were treated to orchestra-driven renditions of songs from as far back as 1991, in a show that covered fan favourites from Dreams Come True, Crush 40, Tomoya Ohtani and more. The all-star emsemble even played a piece from the then unreleased Sonic Superstars, to much fervour.


Our staff writer Vince Pavey was down near the front in the stalls of course, singing his heart out to songs from his childhood like Open Your Heart and Live and Learn until he could learn from the anthropomorphic hedgehog no more. His voice was gone for days, but he’d go again in an instant. Manchester Sonic Symphony, anyone?
