Quality Street and Monopoly join forces for Christmas
Quality Street and Monopoly are teaming up this Christmas, bringing together two household names synonymous with British family traditions. The collaboration sees the iconic Quality Street tub given a Monopoly makeover. Each promotional tub will contain a Chance Card, offering shoppers the chance to win one of 5,000 MONOPOLY: Quality Street Edition gameboards or cash prizes ranging from £5 to £500. The top prize is £20,580 – representing all the money in the Monopoly bank. Designed especially for the partnership, the bespoke octagonal gameboard takes inspiration from Quality Street’s famous tubs and tins. Players can explore sweet-inspired locations including Caramel Swirl Way and Green Triangle Gardens, while traditional stations have been reimagined to celebrate places associated with the brand, including Halifax, where Quality Street is still manufactured. Domori professional chocolate range launches in the UK
Domori has introduced its professional couverture chocolate range to the UK, offering chocolatiers and pastry chefs rare Venezuelan Criollo cacao, single-origin chocolates, couverture and nut-based creams. Distributed by IRCA Group UK & Ireland, the range
is available exclusively through the CFW webshop. A highlight is the Criollo selection, featuring
Porcelana, Guasare and Chuao. Accounting for an estimated 0.01% of global cacao production, Criollo is prized for its delicate flavour and aromatic complexity. Domori supports its preservation through cultivation at Hacienda San José in Venezuela. “Unlike most cacao, Criollo beans are naturally
low in tannins, giving the resulting chocolate an exceptionally smooth, creamy texture with minimal bitterness and acidity,” said Alessandro Crespi, IRCA Group UK & Ireland head of sales. The range also includes single-origin dark and milk chocolates from origins including Madagascar, Peru and Venezuela, alongside the Essence couverture collection in 70% and 56% dark, 37% milk and white chocolate. Completing the launch, Aurea creams include pistachio with 25% Sicilian pistachio and hazelnut with 40% Italian hazelnut, for professional pastry and bakery applications.
Ireland, said: “Quality Street has been bringing people together at Christmas for generations, and we’re always looking for new ways to add a little extra magic to those special moments. Partnering with Monopoly, another iconic part of family celebrations, felt like a natural fit.” The gameboard also features space in the centre for a Quality Street tub, making it a festive games-night companion.
Spacegoods launches chocolate sleep drink
Spacegoods has launched Sleep+, a caffeine-free chocolate drink designed as an evening wellness ritual, building on its previous Astro Dust sleep formula. The blend features PeptiSleep™, a
clinically studied plant peptide derived from brown rice, alongside magnesium citrate, taurinate and bisglycinate, Reishi and Maitake mushroom extracts, L-glycine, L-tryptophan, chamomile, Montmorency cherry and lemon balm. Spacegoods is the first UK drink-
format brand to bring PeptiSleep™ to market. Discovered through Nuritas’ AI-led ingredient discovery platform, the peptide was assessed in a 2024 controlled
study involving healthy
adults experiencing mild-to-moderate sleep impairment. Participants taking 250mg daily
for four to eight weeks recorded improvements across several sleep metrics, including a 17% increase in deep sleep, a 13% increase in REM sleep and an additional 38 minutes of sleep per night. The formula also contains
magnesium, which contributes to normal nervous system and muscle function and helps reduce
