Join SIMKISS Group as our new Approved Electrician in the Gas Engineering department and play a key role across utilities, civils, and infrastructure projects.
Salary: £20.98 per hour Full Time – 37.5 Hours per week (Basic)
Package:
22 days annual leave plus Statutory Bank Holidays.
Overtime is paid at time and a half after 37.5 hrs including travel time. Saturdays – first 6hrs at time and a half, double time thereafter. Sundays – double time all day.
SSP – in accordance with government regulations.
Company Pension Scheme (after 3 months probationary period) – company will match your contribution up to 6%.
Training is provided by the company along with supported career development.
We’re looking for someone with:
• Qualified Electrician C&G/Apprenticeship/AM2 or Equivalent
• C&G 18th Edition Wiring Regulations • Inspection & Testing C&G 2391 or Equivalent • CCNSG
Job specification / duties: • Ensure SIMKISS quality standards are met
• Ensure safety standards on site are met (H+S / CDM Regulations)
• Perform tasks as instructed by the site supervisor
• Installation of tray work, conduit, trunking • Installation SWA type cabling at various sizes • Installation of distribution boards
• Electrical installation in Industrial Environments
• Working away from home is expected around 80% of the year
