PREVIEW: SBC SUMMIT Kateryna Goi, Belatra’s CMO
Belatra Games invites iGaming professionals to join the Adventure Club
At an iGaming expo, there is no shortage of things to discuss: new launches, partnerships, markets, numbers, plans for the next quarter. But how do you really get to know your colleagues outside of their positions and companies when you’re discussing business, asks Kateryna Goi, Belatra’s CMO.
t the SBC Summit in Lisbon, Belatra Games has created a place where people can tell each other about their lives outside of work. From September 29 to October 1, Stand B226 will become the Belatra Adventure Club.

BRINGING THE CONCEPT TO LIFE
The first step in bringing this concept to life was an international survey by Belatra Games and G&M News on the hobbies of iGaming professionals. Video games topped the list, while many respondents said they would like to try padel. Business will remain at the heart of conversations at SBC Summit, but Belatra Games also invites visitors to continue the topic of the survey and talk about what they like besides work.
The concept was inspired by The Guy, a recurring character from Blast the Bass, Ice Bass and Hunt the Bucks slots. He is inquisitive, not afraid to try new hobbies and lives every moment – like many people in real life. On the eve of the SBC Summit, Belatra Games will release the Penalty Blast slot, which sees The Guy swap his usual adventures for the football pitch to become a footballer.
CAPTURE THE EXPERIENCE On the stand, visitors will be invited to capture the experience with a photo and take

home a memory of the event, test their luck in a game where every play can turn into a victory, and unwind at the bar while talking about business and everything that happens beyond work.
The same thinking extends to the Belatra SBC Lisbon giveaway. The headline prize is a Fujifilm X100VI, a camera chosen for one particular reason: some moments are better kept than simply remembered. To participate, visitors need to follow Belatra Games on social media, receive a ticket at the booth and then return to the drawing. There will be more opportunities to win, including a new Belatra merch collection with a T-shirt, hoodie, Panama hat and sand-coloured shoulder bag. A cocktail- making kit will also be up for grabs, giving its winner a reason to continue experimenting after the conference. Ultimately, the Belatra Adventure Club is about getting to know the people behind the business. A conversation might start with a new product, partnership or market and end with fishing stories or travel plans – or start with a shared hobby and lead to a new business idea. At SBC Summit Lisbon, Belatra will be looking for both: successful business conversations and a better understanding of the people who make this industry what it is.
