“Minimalist, multifunctional spaces are


increasingly popular,” says Michael White, Channels Manager at Electrolux Group. “Features like clutter-free countertops and integrated appliances are in demand. Our AEG Induction Extractor Hobs eliminate the need for a cooker hood, aligning with this trend.”

Looking ahead, AEG expects continued demand for energy-saving appliances that support sustainable living, with consumers increasingly seeking eco-friendly options, according to Mr White. He says: “To meet this demand, we’re introducing energy-efficient products like our EcoLine selection.” As technology advances, home chefs are seeking ways to elevate their skills while promoting sustainability. This was evident at IFA 2024, where AI-driven appliances focused on personal health and reducing environmental impact. AEG’s new kitchen range – its largest kitchen range to date, set to launch in 2025, blends innovation with sustainability, enabling users to create healthy, delicious meals with minimal effort while conserving resources. Also unveiled at IFA, AEG’s SaphirMatt Induction Hob is made with durable glass and it resists abrasions from daily use.


“The focus for most consumers in recent years has been on cost-effective, energy-efficient, and healthier cooking – and the reasons for this are well-documented,” says Steve Dickson, Head of Marketing and Innovation at Glen Dimplex Home Appliances.


“Home baking and cooking from scratch have continued to grow, fuelled by the rise of recipe content and ‘how-to’ videos on social media; platforms such as Instagram and TikTok have inspired consumers to experiment with new cooking techniques and try different meals. “This is why it’s crucial for manufacturers to


ensure their appliances are flexible enough to meet these demands.
