10.30: ERT Turning Point Live! conference begins. Hosted by ERT Editor, Jack Cheeseman
10.30: A snapshot of the industry: Nick Simon, Client Insight Director, Consumer Electronics at GfK, will review the performance of the market covering TV, audio, smart tech and home appliances.
10.50: Retail revival: Daniel Todaro, MD of Gekko Field Marketing, will speak about the coming year’s trends for retail and the importance of experiential events and engagement – making the most of physical store spaces after very uncertain times and the rise of online spending.
11.10: Open up to omni-channel: Emma Louise Smith, Director of Moxie Business Marketing, will talk about how the future of retail involves a true omni- channel model, and why websites and online marketing are now a crucial part of the consumer’s shopping journey.
11.30: Dare to be different: A panel of electrical retailers – Darrin Christan, Director of Coopers Stores, Ben Gilks, MD of NE Appliances, and Robert Hughes, Chairman of Hughes Electrical – will come together to discuss the big changes they have made during the pandemic to future-proof their businesses.
