Voting opens for ERT Awards Manufacturer/Supplier categories!


Over the past few weeks, the entries have been


pouring in across the various categories – which include three Best New Product Awards, the Sales Representative Award and the Best Supplier Customer Service Award… Not forgetting the new category for 2022 – Best Industry Distributor. Once again, the Manufacturer/Supplier awards will be decided on solely by retailers, so you have an important


role to play.


The voting is now open for the Manufacturer/ Supplier categories for the ERT Awards 2022.


Is there a particular


product (or products) that is selling well in your store? Which supplier has the best customer service? Which sales


commend for his/her hard work?


IFA 2022: Over 80 per cent of stand space booked up


From 2 to 6 September this year, the IFA exhibition will return with hundreds of well-known CE brands occupying more than 30 trade fair halls presenting their latest products. Said Kai Mangelberger, Director of IFA 2022: “The fact that exhibitor numbers


are back to pre-pandemic levels, with Samsung in the CityCube Berlin, Panasonic in Hub 27 and LG in Hall 18 for example, and with the Household Appliances area almost fully booked, where companies including Bosch, Haier, Miele and Siemens are on the southern section of the grounds, shows that expectations are high.” Within the Home & Entertainment section, brands this year will include Epson,


Sony, TCL, Toshiba and Vestel alongside international distributors, specialist companies, accessory brands and retailers.


In addition, companies such as Ring and Schneider Electric are represented in the Smart Home Special Area again, while IFA Audio will cover noise cancelling, true wireless headphones, audio-streaming, immersive and spatial audio, smart speakers and sound systems from exhibitors from all over the world.


Household appliances were only added to the show in 2008; it has since


catered for every segment of the MDA and SDA markets, including built-in kitchen units. Body care and wellness products are also on display, as are heating and air-conditioning solutions. This year, brands will include AEG, Beko, Candy, Grundig, Hoover, Jura, Liebherr and Russel Hobbs.
