Electrolux recently committed to becoming an Approved Supplier for the Sirius Buying Group; it explained this was a part of its plan to continue to drive growth and support for independent retailers. Mr White says: “Retailers are a fundamental part of our business here at Electrolux and one of the many aspects of our science-based targets is to become net zero by 2050 across our entire value chain, which includes the imperative work
by our retailers and their staff. It’s vital we ensure they stock our most energy-efficient appliances.” He highlighted that the ERT Award-winning

doesn’t lose any heat through convection, so it’s 30 per cent more efficient than a gas hob and 25 per cent more than a ceramic hob. Put both these factors together and you’re using considerably less energy.” He explains that GDHA’s aim is to make induction technology accessible to all. Currently, it is the only brand to offer induction hotplates in a clear choice of options: zoneless, rotary controlled and touch controlled. Mr Dickson states that making strides
towards the creation of more energy efficiency is crucial in order to ease consumers’ concerns around global warming.
He continues: “Our Stoves Deluxe induction range cookers are nearly twice as fast as a those with gas hobs and they do not lose any heat during convection, so during the cooking process they use considerably less energy. For consumers looking to reduce energy bills, it’s an attractive prospect.”
