3. Makita adds to XGT collection Makita has added a new Concrete Vibrator to its XGT collection. Driven by Makita’s 40VMax XGT battery, The 40VMax XGT VR001G can be operated in two power modes. For a wider range of concrete aeration applications on smaller concrete applications such as floors, steps, patchwork and post work, the power setting provides 15,500 vibrations per minute. For delicate works such as step finishing or where the flow of concrete must be minimised, the normal setting can be applied to facilitate 12,000 vibrations per minute. To ensure maximum productivity, the vibrator will achieve a continuous run time of approximately 50 minutes in normal power mode, when used with a 4.0Ah battery and a 32mm-1.2m shaft. www.makitauk.com
