Carl takes on no-car Pavestone Rally challenge

Carl Knowles from Pavestone Marketing, is fundraising for the charities supported by the Pavestone Rally by cycling from Bromsgrove to Barmouth in one day this June (6 June).

Raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust, Variety, Crash, Rainy Day Trust and Lighthouse Charity, Knowles will cycle 110 miles and endure more than 7,000ft of ascent over a route which covers Worcestershire, Shropshire, Powys, Gwynedd and the mountainous areas of the Eryi (Snowdonia) National Park including the notoriously steep pass between Dinas Mawddwy and Dolgellau.

Knowles aims to complete the journey in 24 hours and will be supported by pitstops at three local builders merchants: TG Bridgnorth, Boys &

Boden in

Welshpool and Huws Gray in Dolgellau. He

says: “I’ve participated in the Pavestone

Rally for many years and this year I wanted to do something a little different to raise funds for these charities. I’m very grateful for the support I’ve already received from the merchants involved and Pavestone, and hope to raise at least £1,000 for the Pavestone charities.
