New ball valve from Intatec The new K Type Ball Valve, from Intatec replaces the exposed lever found on standard setups with a fixed seal, operated using an Inta adjustment key or a standard 6mm Allen key, enabling the ball valve to be fully insulated without affecting its operation. To operate the valve, users just remove the protective cap, use the key (sold separately) to open or close the valve, and replace the cap.
This makes it easier to fully insulate around the valve body. Installers simply leave the coloured cap accessible through the insulation, protecting the system while retaining full functionality. With WRAS approval, the K Type sets a new standard in ball valve design.
