first in-person Housewares Awards since February 2020 took place in the heart of London last month. The awards ceremony, which marked the first in-person Housewares Awards since 2020, served as an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and innovation of the entire sector and revealed the incredible products, businesses and people that had been selected as winners by the scheme’s expert panel of judges. Voted for by industry peers, in addition to judging by a panel of industry experts, this year’s awards attracted a high level of high calibre entries. Guests enjoyed catching up with industry friends over a drinks reception and a three- course meal with wine. The afternoon’s proceedings then began with some great comedy from Ian Moore, who proved to be a popular compere and host, keeping guests entertained throughout the afternoon, before the awards ceremony revealed the winners of the 2022 edition of the Housewares Awards. “It’s so important to recognise the hard work, dedication and innovation of companies that have put themselves forward and those that have deservingly been selected as winners,” said Housewares editor Bryony Andrews. “The Housewares Awards have been designed to provide the perfect opportunity for retailers and suppliers alike to celebrate those within their industry who go that extra mile and stand out in their sector.
