rabantia has been committed to sustainability for decades and we are moving towards 100% circular design by 2035. Brabantia is B Corp certified meaning we take responsibility for change and sustainability as a company. Reviewed every three years, the B Corp certification includes a complete company research on corporate social responsibility. It looks at the impact of a company on five pillars: governance, environment, employees, customers, and community. The certification process is intensive but it has reaffirmed to us how important it is to contribute to a more beautiful world.

Over 2024 we plan to introduce various new products to help consumers live more sustainably. We hope to grow the percentage of recycled material used in our products and increase our use of renewable energy. When choosing household products, functionality and quality are most important for consumers, this is followed by design and sustainability. However, the world is now changing and people are becoming more aware of environmental issues. In

turn, consumers have become more conscious of the choices they can make to do better for the environment. We offer a wide range of products to help consumers live sustainably including waste bins for waste separation, rotary dryers and drying racks for natural drying and reusable on-the-go containers to help reduce food waste and disposables. We do, however, know there is always room for improvement which is why we’re taking steps towards 100% circular design by 2035. Our goal as a manufacturer is clear – 100% material health, 100% clean wastewater, 100% renewable energy, 100% recycled production waste, 100% recycled/biobased materials and 100% recyclable products. We’re on a journey towards a more sustainable future, one step at a time. More than 600 of our products are Cradle to Cradle (C2C) certified at bronze or silver level. C2C means that it is possible to reuse every raw material and material used for a product endlessly without losing value. C2C certificates will be reviewed every two years by external companies and products are assessed on five components: material health, product circularity, clean air and climate protection, water and soil stewardship and social fairness. The main goal of C2C design is a constant cycle of raw materials and thus the prevention of waste.
