Adveco expands sales team to support UK adoption of low-carbon water heating

H

ot water specialists Adveco has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Ashleigh Rushton and Will Wright as account sales

managers.

With Net Zero and sustainability now high on the agenda of organisations across the UK’s public and commercial sectors, Adveco is working hard to ensure customers are supported by dedicated specification sales and account sales teams, all backed by in-house application engineers. Prior to joining Adveco’s internal sales team in

2021, Ashleigh held sales roles at New City Heating and Primaflow F&P. With a broad knowledge of plumbing and in-depth experience leading sales of Adveco’s latest water heating products, her promotion to account sales manager for East Anglia and Northern Home Counties was an obvious choice for the company.

Will Wright joins the company following formative employment across the construction supply sector, previously working for Hilti Great Britain and MCP Fixings. His sales experience will be vital as he steps up to manage the Northwest and North Wales regions.

“Expanding the sales team is a key requirement for strengthening the business for long-term growth,” says Greg Brushett, Director of Sales, Adveco. “Especially now with the company championing new technologies and extending commercial markets nationwide.”

Hampshire based hydronics specialist expanding sales of ESBE products

T

he long-standing relationship between ESBE Group, the Swedish manufacturer of hydronics solutions and its Southampton based customer, ESSCO, is flourishing as the latter company settles into new premises offering the space, facilities and location from which it can meet the demand for its diverse portfolio of products. Significantly, ESSCO was originally established by Doug Stammers, father of current managing director, Richard Stammers, for the primary purpose of promoting ESBE in the UK. It has been a symbiotic relationship that has expanded in parallel to product development and changing demands from the HVAC sector. Its new HQ, on a business park three miles from the centre of Southampton, extends to 16,000ft2 over two floors with office and assembly as well as dispatch space, while the meeting room proudly displays the company’s business values and distinct branding. Commercial director, Matt Lowe, said: “All our activity relates to the control and flow of water - mainly in the HVAC industry - but also across the process and petrochemical industries and we serve customers all over the UK and Ireland. Our Fit & Forget commitment relates primarily to our UFH pump packs that we sell to specialist companies. This market is all about dependable products and technical support, so we only work with manufacturers who care about their products and the ESBE range of VTG mixing valves is hugely important to the success of this part of the business.”

Ideal Heating launches ECOMOD Natural Refrigerant Commercial Heat Pumps

I

deal Heating Commercial has launched its next generation ECOMOD heat pumps, with natural refrigerant. The first to be released this year is the ECOMOD 290HT, with ECOMOD CO2 to follow.

The ECOMOD 290HT is a monobloc air source heat pump able to achieve high temperatures up to 75°C, whilst benefitting from an ultra-low global warming potential (GWP) of just three as a result of the use of R290 natural refrigerant.

Available in three chassis sizes and five outputs from 15kW through to 50kW, ECOMOD 290HT has been specifically designed for use in larger commercial buildings and can be used in cascade to achieve even higher outputs. This latest generation of heat pumps can also be installed alongside other Ideal Heating commercial solutions, such as the EVOMAX 2 and the IMAX XTRA 2 commercial condensing boilers, to build a low carbon hybrid heating system. With its ability to achieve high temperatures up to 75°C, ECOMOD 290HT is ideal for Domestic Hot Water (DHW) applications and district heating systems. Furthermore, with potentially no need to upgrade radiators with the ECOMOD 290HT, it is a practical, cost-effective solution for retrofit installations. ECOMOD 290HT comes with a high efficiency rating and high co-efficient of performance (CoP) rating of up to 4.94. The heat pumps also include an inverter-controlled compressor to accurately match the heat demand.
