ATAG
ATAG Commercial has introduced its new PHR range of compact pressurisation units, designed to automatically top up and maintain the minimum pressure requirements for low to medium temperature sealed heating, cooling and chilled water systems. The fl oor standing and wall mounted units remove the need for cold water header tanks and associated pipework, while eliminating reliance on
mains pressure to provide the system head. Each unit is enclosed in a robust powder-coated steel casing, with a removable cover providing access to all internal components. All models have a 7.6 litre capacity break tank, pump non-return valve and plant interlock circuit, as well as volt free contact for low and high system pressure. Integral safety circuits ensure compliance with health and safety requirements.

INSULDUCT
Insulduct has launched a phenolic foam wrap-around insulation for spiral ducting. An approved Kingspan delivery partner with fully equipped fabrication workshops in Surrey, Insulduct has installed specialist machinery to produce the grooved Kooltherm panels that can be formed into a circular duct wrap. Insulduct also manufactures all associated bends and tees cut to the size of duct required. Apart from smooth straight-line appearance, Kooltherm off ers superior insulation value, which requires only half the thickness of conventional foil faced mineral insulation to conform with BS 5422. Installation time is vastly reduced as all sections are correctly sized for the duct; no cutting is required on site. Kooltherm FM Duct Insulation and its rigid thermoset insulation core are Class 0 as defi ned by the Building Regulations 73.

HYGROMATIK
HygroMatik has launched StandardLine, its new steam humidifi er solution. The StandardLine series is economical and easy to maintain, and a clear and intuitive control system makes it simple to set up the unit and monitor the precise humidity levels. Depending on use of purifi ed or ordinary tap water, StandardLine can be supplied with an electrode or heater element steam humidifi er. With steam output ranging from 2kg/h up to 65kg/h, the units are available in four cabinet sizes. The electrode steam humidifi er processes tap water. Made from stainless steel, the electrodes are durable, making the unit reliable and reducing maintenance costs. The heater humidifi cation solution uses steam cylinders with resistance type heater elements suitable for diff erent water types. The heater elements provide precision and operation with virtually no disruption or maintenance requirements.

ALPHA
When Anthony Waldron was searching for a new heating system, he found an Alpha combi boiler was the perfect solution. Since having the boiler installed, the Waldrons have saved 11% on their energy bills. The Alpha boiler was chosen for its energy effi ciency along with its impressive warranty. Mr Waldron said: “We were modernising our bathroom and our older model could
no longer cope. We wanted to change to a combi system, which was a practical choice for our renovation and saves us money and energy at an astonishing rate – 11% over the fi rst 6 months is just exceptional.” Jonathan Hanby, technical sales manager at Alpha, added: “It’s incredible to hear when an Alpha product provides a customer with real and signifi cant results. SWEGON AIR MANAGEMENT
The Ceiling Collection is the latest group of diff users to join the Air Diff usion product range from Swegon Air Management. These diff users have been designed with all parties in mind to ensure that they are both simple to install and maintain, while also providing a comfortable environment. The faceplate discs can be easily rotated to change spread pattern, without aff ecting air
fl ow, pressure drop or sound level. This ensures a consistent level of air distribution with minimal sound – safeguarding against system imbalance and performance issues later on in a building’s lifecycle. The diff users have hinges that clip into the backing box to enable easy access inside the ductwork and regular replacement of diff user faceplates – very convenient for an operator when standing on a ladder. Moreover, only one person is required for the replacement job, saving both time and money.
The ALS Commissioning Box has a unique design that aids the ease of installation. The box can be rotated 360°C and fi tted to the diff user from any direction, increasing the scope for installation possibilities. In addition, its perforated interior reduces the level of sound generated in the ductwork – an ideal choice for a space where disturbances need to be kept at a minimum.
