VALVES AAV & Test Plugs
AAV
The automatic air release valves (AAV) automatically eliminate the air that can build up inside a heating system. The presence of air inside sealed heating systems can result in negative adversities that will affect the correct function and performance of the system.
The valve installation uses a PTM system (O-Ring seal) which allows a quick and safe installation, without the need for additional sealing materials like hemp or PTFE tape. The valve is supplied with a non-return/check valve to facilitate removal for servicing without the need to drain the system.

Test Plugs
The contents of a piping system may need checking at various points in the line; a test plug installed allows this to happen in a cost-effective solution. CORE test plugs have a brass body, cap and retaining ring with the cap seal made of neoprene rubber. They are suitable for hot water, chilled water and low-temperature steam (up to 135°C).
