Testo
Testo has introduced a whole new range of digital manifolds which off er a robust design with weatherproofi ng to IP54 providing a reliable tool for outdoor use as well as a large graphic display which allows all measurement parameters to be viewed on a single screen. With the ability to connect Bluetooth probes the new range off ers a wireless measurement solution, and is complimented by a new multi-functional Smart App.
The large dot matrix type LCD display of the testo 550 and 557 models can display all measurement values on a single screen allowing users to view all required values without scrolling between screens. Also, the display is capable of graphical representation of ‘analogue’ dials as well as digital values allowing a simple transition for users who have previously used purely analogue gauge sets.
The testo 550s and 557s give all values at a glance, helping you to carry out testing quicker and easier than ever before.

Emerson
Emerson has introduced its Lumity supervisory control platform, a next-generation control platform for complete refrigeration and facility management.
Trane
Trane has upgraded its Sintesis Advantage air-to-water heat pumps portfolio, addressing the demand for environmentally responsible solutions for seasonal space heating and cooling applications. Sourcing energy from the ambient air, with zero direct greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, the new air-to-water Sintesis Advantage CXAF heat pumps off er a renewable energy solution to traditionally carbon- intensive space heating demands and are suited to replace fossil-fueled boilers for comfort applications.
The new Sintesis Advantage CXAF heat pumps off er market leading operating maps and deliver higher water temperatures at lower outdoor air temperatures than the previous models.
The new models were optimized for part load conditions and deliver up to 10% better coeffi cient of performance (COP) and up to 15 % increase in seasonal coeffi cient of performance (SCOP) within the same footprint and weight as the predecessors.
In case of demand for space cooling, the new Sintesis Advantage CXAF heat pumps can be combined with an integrated heat recovery system, allowing customers to repurpose the “free heat” in low heat end-use applications like swimming pool re-heating, dehumidifi cation post-heating, and more, while also delivering comfort cooling at the same time.

Managing an entire retail or foodservice facility and its critical systems can be a complex undertaking. Refrigeration, HVAC and lighting systems must operate at peak performance and in seamless harmony to achieve a wide range of operational goals. The Lumity supervisory control platform is designed to streamline facility management and simplify these operational complexities by enabling top-down visibility and robust control of all systems within a network. Smart software serves as the platform’s foundation, delivering an intuitive, user-friendly and web-accessible experience. The Lumity supervisory control platform gives users two powerful facility management control device options: the all-new Lumity supervisory control E3 with an integrated touch-screen display, and the Lumity supervisory control SS (also known as Site Supervisor) with optional mounted display. The new platform provides visual store management and robust control of refrigeration systems and buildings. With the same form and fi t as the previous version E2 controller, the Lumity E3 controller is a quick drop-in replacement to the E2.

MHI Thermal Systems
Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Thermal Systems (MHI Thermal Systems) has confi rmed its latest proprietary air purifi cation technology has the ability to remove and inactivate the novel coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). The latest technology includes a proprietary air purifi cation and an enzyme-urea formulation processor that exposes cells to UV-C LED (ultraviolet-C light - emitting diode) radiation to remove and inactivate airborne viruses.
Holding the potential to remove and inactivate airborne viruses with a unique air fi ler trapping innovation. The results show the ability to control the novel coronavirus by air purifi cation – and marking a signifi cant step towards MHI Thermal Systems tackling the worldwide pandemic with its expert technology. Tests also confi rm effi cacy in removing and inactivating traces of the coronavirus through commissioned research from the Satoshi Omura Memorial Institute of Kitasato University, led by Professor Kazauhiko Katayama. Before launching to its worldwide markets, MHI Thermal Systems will continue the commissioned research to validate the eff ectiveness of its latest developments further.
