irst of all, I would like to introduce myself as the new Assistant Editor on Converter. I have enjoyed my first two months engaging
in this exciting industry and I look forward to meeting more people and continuing to learn as time goes on. In this issue we have our interpack 2017 review as we take a look
at the biggest developments from the show. There is also a review of IST METZ’s UV DAYS event in Germany, which I attended and saw first-hand the UV and LED UV solutions in action. This show broke attendance records and Simon Mitchell, joint managing director IST (UK), said “there has never been such a successful UV DAYS.” Also, read our new luxury packaging feature where the impact of foils and laminates
