Barry Callebaut cuts carbon


Barry Callebaut has succeeded in reducing its carbon footprint by – 6.7 per cent in 2018/19. This equates to a drop from 9.10 million tonnes to 8.49 million tonnes. During the same period the company achieved a +5.1% volume


growth. The reductions are the result of the company’s Forever Chocolate


Strategy, which includes the objective of storing more carbon than it emits by 2025. The Forever Chocolate strategy aims to make sustainable chocolate the norm by 2025.


Pringles launches new minis


format for vending Pringles is introducing a new format to its range of crisps, developed exclusively for vending. New Pringles Minis will initially be available in the two most popular Pringles flavours, Original and Sour Cream and Onion. Commenting on the launch, Gianna Regonini, national account manager, Pringles, said: “We are delighted to be able to offer a Pringles pack and food format suitable for vending machines, so consumers can continue to enjoy Pringles when they are out of home”. Pringles Minis will be available in vending machines across the UK from January 2020.
