Product Finder Domus Ventilation expands energy-efficient Axial Fan range

Domus Ventilation has added new models to its intermittent axial fan range: the DBF100 100mm (4”) fan and the DKF150 150mm (6”) fan. Both fan types are available in versions with timer control, and combined humidistat and timer control, which identifi es and reacts to a signifi cant change in humidity. The DBF100 is also available with a pull cord control. Designed for high performance and energy

effi ciency, the DKF150 provides extract volume rates up to 48.8 l/s, with the smaller DBF100 operating up to 18.6 l/s, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations Part F Ventilation. They

both operate with a low Specifi c Fan Power (SFP), saving energy and reducing operating costs and are quiet in operation, down to 34dB(A). The new axial fans are compact, so readily

fi t into small spaces, and have easy-to-follow installation instructions and fl exible mounting options.

Built with high-quality materials and durable components, the fans are robust and provide long-lasting, reliable performance. Designed to work with short duct runs which connect directly to an external outlet or grille, the Domus Ventilation axial fans are suitable for use in

Knightsbridge’s intelligent dimmers just got smarter

Each model in the new Intelligent Dimmer range from Knightsbridge is now equipped with the versatile VFR200I module, allowing for a seamless switch between trailing edge and leading edge dimming technologies. The result not only improves the usability of the trimming function, which

required delicate care to prevent breakages, but also delivers optimal performance from all lighting types, from traditional incandescent bulbs to modern LED systems. Another benefi t is that the dimmers now can control the lighting output precisely, signifi cantly reducing fl ickering issues at lower intensities, ensuring smooth dimming transitions and extending the lifespan of lighting fi xtures.

The dimmers, which are available in various designs and fi nishes, are suitable for a wide range of light sources, including incandescent (10- 200W), mains voltage halogen (10-150W), low voltage halogen with electronic transformer (10-150W), and LED dimmable lamps (5-150W). Safety is also improved because the dimmers now incorporate an inrush current limiter that stops overheating and protects against blown fuses and tripped circuit breakers. www.mlaccessories.co.uk

Click adds Bidirectional RCBOs to Elucian range

The latest addition to Click Scolmore’s Elucian range of consumer units and protective devices is a new, bidirectional RCBO. The launch comes hot on the heels of Amendment 3 of BS 7671 (BS 7671: 2018+A3:2024), which followed the issue of a technical bulletin by BEAMA in 2024 which detailed a concern where, under certain circumstances, protective devices failed to safely operate when required where current flowed in either direction.

Regulation 530.3.201 requires that due account is taken by the designer and installer

of the likely direction of current flow and protective equipment selected accordingly. The Elucian Bidirectional RCBO is crucial for ensuring user protection in the event of a fault during a loss of supply. These devices are commonly used with generating sets, where the current can flow in both directions, ensuring that the installer is still protected under fault conditions.

The new bidirectional RCBO is Type A rated and available in both B curve and C curve, with 6A, 10A, 16A, 20A, 25A, 32A, 40A and 45A options. It comes with a three year warranty.
