New 5W LED Fitting completes
the ESP Exit Sign Line Up ESP has added a new 5W fitting to its Duceri LED Exit Sign range. This completes the product line up which offers contractors, installers and wholesalers a comprehensive range of independently tested products that combine high performance with ease of installation. The new 5W LED Emergency Exit
Signs (Up, Down, Left and Right) feature an SMD 2835 LED lamp, which offers a 60 lumen mains output and 44 lumen emergency output, with a viewing distance of 28m. These double-sided signs feature polycarbonate housing and are designed to be ceiling mounted. The new fitting offers three hours emergency duration, with charge and discharge protection, and
features a green LED charge indicator. It is fitted with a 3.6V 900mAh Ni-CD battery, and has been tested to meet BS EN 60598-2-22 Standards. It measures 345 x 110 x 190 mm and weighs 1kg.

Twice as fast charging with Scolmore’s
twin USB charging port Scolmore has upgraded its 13A 2-Gang USB socket, which now features 2 USB charging ports capable of delivering 5V 2.1A simultaneously and allows for optimum charging of two devices at the same time. The location of the USB ports on
the 2-gang socket has moved from underneath the switch and socket outlets to above each individual socket outlet on the outer edge of the plate. The 13A 1-gang socket outlets with 2.A USB also now feature a new location for the USB port - from underneath the switch on the right, to above the socket outlet on the left. The upgraded 1 and 2-gang USB sockets are available in all Click ranges - Mode, Polar, Deco, Deco+, Definity, Define and Metalclad. Mode, Deco, Deco+ and Polar USB sockets can be fitted into a 25mm back box. Definity and Define USB sockets require a 35mm back box and Metalclad USB sockets are supplied complete with a 40mm back box. The CED Electrical Group announces more new products for the Meridian brand, including IP44 and IP65 rated Wall Mounted LED Spotlights for indoor or outdoor use – complementing the recently launched ranges of both wall mounted lanterns and solar lights. Suitable for use with CED LED GU10 lamps up to 5W in warm or cool white (not included), these new fittings are CE marked and RoHS compliant. The IP44 splash-proof range of steel fittings comprises single fixed and adjustable downlights plus a dual up/down light, whilst a similar offering is available in the higher rated IP65 range, but in this case with finish options of steel or black.
