Demand for instant electric hot water taps is on the increase as homeowners look to invest in any application likely to save them time in the kitchen. lectric instantaneous hot water products have a bright future within the water-heating sector. Whilst


traditional centralised systems are still popular, there are numerous trends that indicate a growing market for electric point of use products, and wholesalers are in a prime position to benefit. A key selling point for instantaneous point of


use products is that they only heat the amount of water required and in as close proximity as possible to where the hot water is needed, dramatically reducing waste, delivering significant energy and cost savings, and often lowering the amount of plumbing work required. It is of particular benefit to taller buildings,


where point of use water heating offers an alternative to the gas-powered heating systems that may be prohibited. Rental properties can also benefit, as electric point of use water heating negates the need for gas safety certificates and annual gas checks. Take for instance, instant boiling water taps. With


increasingly busy lifestyles – both at work and home – we’re a nation that loves convenience and practical solutions to make our lives easier. We’re also a nation that loves a cup of tea or coffee, and with around 60 billion cups of tea drunk in the UK per year, anything that saves us time in making a cuppa is only going to rise in popularity. However, it’s not just cups of tea; boiling water taps are increasingly being used for preparing food in householders’ kitchens. No longer reserved for the most luxurious of domestic kitchens, or limited to counter-top or wall-mounted products for commercial premises,
