ndy Cannell and Rachael McDermott join a growing specifi cation team which has responsibility for creating demand for products from the Scolmore Group portfolio across a variety of sectors. Their focus will be on demand creation within medium to large electrical contractors, M&E consultants and specifi ers and local authority and housing associations.

Schneider UK&I president takes on Belgium and Netherlands S


chneider Electric has announced that Kelly Becker has expanded her role as president of the UK and Ireland to include Belgium and the Netherlands.


Kelly will share her expertise and best practice with the leadership team, led by David Orgaz D’Hollander, cluster president of Belgium and Netherlands, to drive faster growth and capitalise on the considerable business opportunities in these countries. Speaking on the new appointment, Kelly Becker, said: “Our Belgium and Netherlands business has seen signifi cant growth in recent years, and benefi ts from strong, local infrastructure and resources. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work alongside David and his leadership team to drive growth, maximise the enormous potential of the region, and continue to provide outstanding service for our customers.”


Kelly has spent more than 13 years as a senior leader within Schneider Electric, with a strong focus on strategy and business execution to achieve positive outcomes.


CEF launches fourth series of TechTalks L


eading electrical wholesaler CEF has announced that registrations for the fourth series of its award winning TechTalks, commencing in September, have opened. The free and educational event is back for its fourth series and is bringing its expert advisers and presenters to over 20 locations across the UK. Customers can now register to attend their local TechTalk and gain insightful information on the latest standards, regulations, news and products from over 20 leading brands with CPD accredited training.

The pioneering channel is dedicated to empowering electrotechnical apprentices and their training providers with best-in-class digital learning resources. ACE is set to launch in January 2025, off ering unparalleled support for the study of Level 2 and 3 Electrical Installation. Digital learning materials will include science and theory videos; health and safety essentials videos; practical skills refresher videos; benchmarking quizzes and assessments and expert advice from industry professionals and educators.
