Masterplug’s collapsible weatherproof box can be used with a range of electrical items including festive decorations, lighting, water features and inflatable pools and spas.


Uniquely in the marketplace, the innovative collapsible design makes it extremely compact when being stored, while still being able to securely accommodate different sized cables. The durable rubber sides allow the depth of the box to be adjusted to accommodate larger in-line transformers, timers, adaptors and extension leads,


and make it easier to collapse down in storage. It is also extremely easy for retailers to stock and display. Packaged and displayed in its collapsed form, it is 50% smaller than Masterplug’s previous outdoor electrical box.


Each box has five cable entries, one for the eight- metre extension lead power cable and four sockets out for connected devices. Four layers of rubber seals at the cable entry and exit points ensure that the electrical connections remain safe and dry no matter the cable diameter, whilst interior lugs and Velcro straps hold cables in place.


The self-closing, self-locking hinged lid can be easily installed without tools and eliminates the need for any additional securing steps. It is possible to also lock the box with a padlock and use the additional fixings to mount it to a wall if extra security is required.
