Embedded controllers for automation and machine vision market

isplays, touchscreen and embedded specialist CDS has partnered with Embedded specialist company
Taicenn to promote and support its products in the UK and Europe including industrial and rugged embedded Boxed PCs and industrial touchpanel PCs, as well as other industrial products such as rugged IP65 stainless steel keyboards. All designed specifically for systems and applications that require; excellent performance, high- level reliability and stability, long supply period and support. CDS feels that Taicenn is the best kept
secret in the embedded world having been known for the highest quality and reliability as well as new and innovative products with major blue-chip OEMs. CDS takes over the focused marketing and technical support of these products in the UK and Europe to become an ethical distribution partner.
The TBOX range is a new and fully equipped controller, with a suit of I/O designed with automation in mind all sealed in a rugged, aluminium box.
Special design features include initially
reliability, stability, high performance and lower power consumption. They are rugged and compact and are a fan-less designed embedded Box controller/ PC. The TBOX series can support 5 LAN ports, with 4 POE, enabling direct power and connectivity to PoE devises up to 15.4W per channel (ex. IP Camera). They boast a fully sealed mechanical
structure which prevents dust from entering the device system. The beautiful fan-less design incorporates a large aluminium fin heat sink, which distributes and radiates heat effectively and quickly giving an extended operating temperature of -20 to +60C. All series products can also optionally support an even further extended temperature range of -40ºC~+70ºC, for ultra-rugged applications and requirements. Optional with Baytrail, Apollo lake,
Broadwell and Skylake CPU processors but all offering high performance and low power consumption. The embedded systems have a wide voltage design
incorporating an optional industrial grade DC-DC adaptor. The voltage input can be designed to meet different application situations but ultimately inclusive of high- quality mainboard and components and a special rugged design to support industrial projects (9-36v).
The TBOX models can support;
Windows 7, Windows 7 Embedded, Windows8, Windows10, Linux Operating system and embedded Operating system, and they are also compatible with application software based on those operating systems. They are cost effectively designed with several versions of the box structure to provide plentiful I/O options including; HDMI/VGA/GLAN/PoE
ports/USB/(RS232/RS485) and optional Wi- Fi / 3G /4G with SIM slot. CDS also offer an amazing range of Panel PC displays incorporating the impressive TBOX PCs with an industrial and reliable monitor. The combination of industrial PCs with state-of-the-art performance featuring high quality and reliable touchpanels with excellent display capabilities which enables the user to concentrate high performance into the smallest package.
Our industrial panel PC range is designed to cover all requirements from compact PCs to high performance, rugged IP65 models meeting multiple industrial specifications which we know are essential to our industrial customers. Touchscreen options include resistive, capacitive, SAW and infra-red as well as tempered glass versions with long
lifetime supply and support roadmaps ideal for industrial applications. If only a monitor is required, then this
isn’t an issue for CDS. Their industrial monitors range includes Open Frame, Chassis, Panel Mount and Rack Mount Monitors, Sunlight Readable Displays, IP rated and Marine Grade displays. All extremely hard wearing and reliable. Products feature robust mechanical design and advanced communications capability. In addition to this range CDS can also
offer a wide range of rugged keyboards ideal for industrial applications with protection up to IP65. In hazardous environments these rugged industrial keyboards are totally protected from the ingress of water, dirt and dust. CDS is ready to support customers to deliver OEM products based on this new range, which is designed to be easily customised with small minimum order quantities. Customer’s application needs, and project necessities can be achieved successfully, rapidly and flexibly thanks to CDS’ knowledge and experience. CDS also offer a labelling service whereby they can provide labelling support thanks to their great relationship with their suppliers.
