Series 9 offers wide range of APDs optimised for LIDAR applications
With the Series 9, First Sensor offers a wide range of silicon avalanche photodiodes (APDs) with very high sensitivity in the near infrared (NIR) wavelength range, especially at 905 nm. With their internal gain mechanism, large dynamic range and fast rise time the APDs are ideal for LIDAR systems for optical distance measurement and object recognition according to the time of flight method. Application examples include driver assistance systems, drones, safety laser scanners, 3D-mapping and robotics.
The Series 9 offers detectors as single elements as well as linear and matrix arrays with multiple sensing elements. For particularly low light levels, hybrid solutions are also available that further enhance the APD signal with an internal transimpedance amplifier (TIA).
• Efficient cooling with easy change, washable front access filters
SYS-RM202 • 2U Rack mount, 420mm depth, built-in 460 Watt power supply • 7th Generation Intel CPU, Celeron or i-Core • Up to four HDD/SSD devices • Lockable front door
• Efficient cooling with easy change, washable front access filters

Connector and cable solutions for EV applications
Inelco Hunter has announced the availability of Amphenol’s complete range of EV connectors and cables, designed to meet Electric Vehicle applications, from charging to motor control and power distribution. The Amphenol EV range includes power connectors, signal connectors, rugged cables and complete cable harnesses. The Electric Vehicle market is developing at a very rapid rate (a worldwide increase of 58% from 2016 to 2017), and Amphenol has invested heavily in the development of rugged, high-quality connector and cable solutions, powered by their own patented RADSOK®
Technology. RADSOK®
twisted into a hyperbolic geometry to provide highly- reliable socket contact with unique characteristics.
Technology uses a flat stamped grid,
The key benefits are higher amperages within smaller envelopes combined with higher current ratings. The hyperbolic geometry also provides a highly-reliable connection with a low insertion force. The end- result is a rugged connector providing high durability and long life.
Amphenol’s electric vehicle products come as IP2X touch-proof as standard. They are sealed to IP67 / IP6K9K specifications and are capable of taking shielded and or unshielded cables. An added benefit is the option of “HVIL” high voltage interlock safety contacts that are “last-to-mate” and “first-to-break” on connection/disconnection. Cable sizes vary between 2.5mm² and 150mm² with operating voltages up to 1,500V and 1,200A continuous at 85°C.
Inelco Hunter as a fully-franchised distributor can supply the complete Amphenol industrial product portfolio, from the newer EV ranges just coming onto the market to the more traditional well-known ranges, such as Ecomate, Heavy Mate and C091 M16 product series.

43” AUO 4K TFT Display delivers high optical quality
content, perfect for digital signage in operation 24/7 Display Technology Ltd. introduces the AUO 43” TFT Display to its collection. Boasting an ultra-high-definition of 3740x2160 pixels the display is ideal for information and signage applications in constant operation 24/7.
With a wide viewing angle of v/h 178°/178° the display delivers flexibility, showing content in both a portrait and landscape format. The screen brightness of 700cd/m² in combination with its anti-glare surface promises a defined high optical quality image even in bright ambient light.
The 43” TFT display is controlled through an 8-lane V-by-One Interface. Available as part of a plug- and-play kit solution the installation process is simplified. The plug-and-play-kit contains all the components you need including cables and the Prisma 4k TFT controller and gives you the freedom to define the display. The Prisma 4K automatically calibrates the picture, position and colour, with the option to connect speakers easily.
Additionally you have the option to laminate a protective glass on the TFT display. By adding a protective layer you can protect the screen against any damage caused as well as making it easier to clean.

New thermally conductive dispensable PCM
interface paste, 3.5W/m.K The latest addition to the thermal interface material range from European Thermodynamics is the phase change material GCS-TRP35-PCM.
How does it work? Ideally suited to fill spaces of up to 0.15mm, the GCS-TRP35-PCM phase change thermal interface material is used to pervade air gaps/voids between two surfaces. This provides full thermal contact in order to cool critical electronic
components, for example on a printed circuit board.
Overall thermal conductivity of an embedded system is enhanced as heat is allowed to flow through the system and disperse. This allows the electronics to function as intended.
Increased component density and smaller form factor engineering designs are now possible.
Developed and manufactured in the UK, GCS-TRP35-PCM has a thermal conductivity of 3.5W/m.K. It’s RoHS approved, non-toxic, thixotropic (non-drip) formula means no messy application.
It is available as a paste in 100g pots.
