THE GATWICK FOOTWEAR SHOW REVIEW
The Gatwick Show took place at The Holiday Inn Horley, on 8-9th of September 2019. As usual, it was a great place to view over 25 children's brands in one place. Visitors came from the Channel Islands, Ireland and from the South Coast and London to view the best children's ranges from key Kids Brands.
The Gatwick Show was a great success with new and existing retailers attending the largest gathering of Children's Brands in the UK. Over 25 brands attended including Skechers, GEOX, Bobux, Angulus, Camper, Lurchi by Salamander, Froddo, Bo Bell, Term and Petasil. We were very pleased to have new exhibitors ECCO Kids, Babybotte, Scholl Kids and Old Soles exhibit for the first time. The new brands encouraged retailers to attend and it was pleasing to see visitor numbers up and lots of orders being written. Please note the next dates for the Gatwick Show are Sunday 16th and Monday 17th February 2020 for Autumn/Winter 2020. Jeremy Hewitt of Shewitts was exhibiting Lurchi by
Salamander, Noel Kids, Oomphies and for the first time Scholl Kids. It was another successful Gatwick show and we wrote many orders and were able to launch our new brand Scholl Kids. Despite a wet June Lurchi by Salamander Sandals have sold through well and our enlarged trainer ranges have been bought well. Jeremy was pleased to see many of his customers have already started selling Lurchi boots and have achieved a good Back to School. Footwear agent, Jeremy Hewitt, Show Organiser.
