competitively priced, low power 800 series flowmeter maintains high performance over 6 flow ranges from 0.05 to 15 litres per minute. Totally non-metallic wetted components, including a moulded PVDF body and Viton 'O' seals, makes the lower 800 series flowmeter the ideal choice for the metering of even aggressive chemicals. The standard inlet tubes are barbed to accept a hose size of 8mm although for OEM use - alternatives are available. At the heart of the low power 800 series flowmeter is a
precision turbine that rotates freely on robust sapphire bearings. The turbine contains fully moulded-in magnets that are detected through the chamber wall by an extremely low drag, low power detector.

hrough our meticulous development of our VortexWell, you can be assured of unrivalled quality and safety.
The VortexWell When it comes to market-leading temperature measurement, we lead the way. At Okazaki, our focus is on solving your problems. Through the use of cutting-edge tech- nology our engineers have developed a complex solution to your Thermowell reso- nance failure issues. Simple and effective, incorporating: - Helical Strake Design
- No velocity collar required
Finding alternative solutions Our constant focus at Okazaki is on innovation - making sure that we bring you the most technically advanced solu- tions to deal with the challenges that you face. For this reason we've looked at alternative ways to deal with the issues that vortex induced vibration causes. Following extensive research, we sought to bring you a solution that tackles the original cause of the problem, as opposed to just masking the symptoms. Bringing you an effective device that solves the issues you face. Key Benefits:

New pump hits spot for viscous products at high temperatures
have taken a distinct turn for the better in the world of pump evolution. As those, for example, in the coatings industry will know all too well, seal-less Magnetic (Mag) drive pumps are suitable for high temperatures and prevent any leakage of fluid, which is clearly important when dealing with chemicals and corrosive liquids. With their simple design, Mag pumps are considered ‘reliable’ and ‘low maintenance’, but when trying to deal with viscous fluids, this isn’t the case at all. You also won’t have to look too far to find a manufacturer of Twin
F
Screw Pumps describe them as ‘durable and low on maintenance’. True for durable, and for handling highly viscous products, true again, but a totally different story if it’s a liquid that contains some solid particles.

www.boerger.com The long history of PCM in dosing and filling for the food industries
o dose accurately the most varied food ingredients and to fill containers of any kind to ever higher rates are skills that PCM has been excelling in for more than 80 years. Our machines are used by food manufacturing companies around the world. The applications are numerous. We have identified no less than fifty food products, among which we find milk, yoghurt, fruit, sauces, cheeses, vegetables, chocolate, caramel or oils. PCM systems have been installed in more than 70 countries to more than 400 different companies, among which we find the most prestigious and demanding ones in terms of productivity and quality. The PCM dosing and filling systems, by integrating transfer, dosing, mixing and filling functions, have managed to bring their
T
users the dosing accuracy, speed of execution, respect of the ingredients and compliance with hygienic standards required by processes increasingly demanding and requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Never waste a drop with the DosysTM metering pump Besides giving an accurate on-demand dosing of the ingredients, the DosysTM pumps can meter the ingredients with precision, thanks to the servo-driven piston and a patented flow-control valve. DosysTM pumps are designed to handle liquid, semi-solid and viscous products. The dosing volume can be easily adjusted by simply increasing or decreasing the piston movement. DosysTM pumps enable an unrivalled level of control and cleanability (CIP/SIP) with no dismantling or the need for complicated bypass systems.
PCM DosymixTM Inline Dynamic Mixer The choice of dynamic mixer is recommended for applications with fragile and sensitive ingredients containing solids or fibres. As it mixes products through progressive contact rather than shearing, the DosymixTM is particularly suitable for use with fragile products such as fruit. Its low mixing volume also means that it’s ideal for the addition of time-sensitive products, and although this industrial food mixer is powerful, its low volume operation reduces product loss both during the process and at the end of a production cycle.
PCM Filling Pumps and Systems With PCM filling solutions it is possible to fill layer and inject a wide range of products using the same system. All PCM filling systems are designed to provide maximum volumetric flexibility. In other words, not only can you fill containers of all shapes and sizes, but you can also vary the filling volume from one cycle to the next. Versatility extends to it’s compatibility with a multitude of filling ingredients, from liquid flavourings to viscous jams, from sticky toffee to semi-solid sauces. Finally, PCM filling systems integrate easily with any production line and packaging equipment, thanks to their modular design.
