New Sloping Front Instrument Enclosures From METCASE
M
ETCASE has launched a new sloping front version of its advanced TECHNOMET desktop instrument enclosures.
TECHOMET SL is designed for applications including medical and test and measurement. The new SL model’s front bezel is inclined at 18 degrees
for a perfect viewing angle of the controls, displays etc. Extruded snap-on trims at the front and rear cover all the front panel and case fixing screws. A single PCB can be installed on four pre-fitted M3
pillars in the base – or multiple PCBs can slide in on clip-in anti-vibration guides (accessories). The front and rear panels are recessed to protect switches, connectors, displays and keypads. TECHNOMET SL is available in three standard sizes: 100 x
225 x 230 mm, 125 x 275 x 285 mm and 150 x 350 x 320 mm (which features side grip handles as standard). METCASE can supply TECHNOMET SL enclosures fully
customised.

New KDS-FB cable entry for five round-cable sealing elements
currently comprises a total of 13 cable entries with four frame widths and various divisions for flat and round cables. The latest addition is a pre-configured cable entry with five sealing elements to accommodate round cables. The new variant has a 39 mm x 120 mm frame size. Like all KDSClick cable management solutions, the KDS-FB line is based on a few basic components designed for tool-less assembly and tool-less placement into a frame. Once the one-piece frame is screwed on the opening from outside the enclosure or distribution cabinet, flat or round cables fitted with suitable sealing elements can simply be pushed in from the inside for a snug insertion into the frame slots. TPE gaskets are molded directly into the frames to ensure high, IP66-rated ingress protection.

ATC SEMITEC launches new website
easily identify the ideal temperature sensor for their NPI or product upgrade. Rob Savin, ATC Semitec’s MD commented ‘We have spent
A
time redesigning our website with engineers and buyers in mind. Our mobile friendly site is searchable by market application, product type or via one of the world-leading, innovative manufacturers we represent. With over 20 years’ experience in the thermal sensor
industry, our technical sales team provide the final link to designers, confirming specification, availability, competitive pricing, and of course samples. ‘Even with the new site, it’s always good to talk! It’s
during these conversations that our product knowledge helps design engineers save time and money finding the optimum sensor. I’d like to think that this is what we are the very best at!’
