control products at EDS 2023 Frequency control specialist, Euroquartz is exhibiting its latest products at EDS 2023 including the launch of a new spread spectrum oscillator alongside new products from Greenray Industries Inc., and new reference crystal oscillators from Statek Inc. Euroquartz will be launching new spread spectrum oscillators

offering customers a drop-in replacement for standard clock oscillators with a reduction in electro-magnetic interference (EMI) by as much as 12dB. The new EQHM22 reduces EMI at source so that traditional “patching-up” methods of combatting interference – ferrite beads, ground planes, metal shielding and similar – are no longer necessary. With a choice of modulation rate and spread, these new devices offer frequencies from 16 to 40MHz in a miniature surface mount package measuring 2.5 x 2.0 x 0.9mm. New products from Greenray include two ranges of temperature-compensated crystal oscillators (TCXO) offering very low acceleration and tight temperature stability alongside new crystal oscillators (XO) offering low phase noise and ultra-low acceleration sensitivity. New crystal oscillators from Statek offer tight frequency stability with fundamental

frequencies from 10 to 50MHz and a total frequency tolerance as low as ±5ppm (including first year ageing) over the military temperature range from -55 to +125°C.

Mention In German Innovation Awards ROLEC’s aluDOOR industrial electronic enclosures have gained a Special Mention in the German Innovation Awards. Judges praised the “high added value for users.” Robust aluDOOR is a ‘go anywhere’ hinged-lid enclosure that can be mounted on walls, bulkheads, machines and desks – safeguarding electronics in challenging indoor and harsh outdoor environments. The enclosures are rated IP 66, IP 67, IP 68 and (on request) IP 69K. Diecast aluminium aluDOOR’s hinged lid opens 100° to allow easy access to components. The lid can be specified with or without a recess for a membrane keypad. The lid screws and threaded inserts are A2 stainless steel for added protection against corrosion. ROLEC has made it quick and easy to fit the lid. Its integrated hinge pin is pushed into place

then secured with two tamperproof Torx T25 screws with M5 threads. Then the lid is shut and locked down with two more Torx screws. All the fixings are hidden beneath aluminium trims. Like many other ROLEC enclosures, aluDOOR can be installed ‘lid closed’, protecting

the electronics and seal, a continuous foamed-in polyurethane gasket with no join. Inside the housing, there are pillars for PCBs, mounting plates and DIN rails. Electronics designers can specify aluDOOR in 10 sizes from 120 x 90 x 70 mm to 280 x

170 x 90 mm. The standard colour is anthracite grey (RAL 7016) with matt silver powder- coated lid trims. ROLEC can supply aluDOOR fully customised.

Rubix MCA Division companies to exhibit at Machine Building Live

for the first time The Rubix Motion, Control and Automation (MCA) division will be coming together for the first time to exhibit at Machine Building Live on 4th October 2023 at the National Motorcycle Museum, Birmingham. A core division of Rubix, Europe’s leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair

and overhaul (MRO) products and services, the MCA division consists of Matara, KJN and newcomer Gapp Automation that joined in April of this year. Whilst the companies will have their own stands – Matara stand 46, KJN stand 37, and

Gapp stand 70 – they will be easily recognisable as part of the Rubix MCA division thanks to their similar style and graphics and the presence of Rubix’ distinct branding. Until now, Matara, KJN and Gapp Automation have mostly worked independently of

each other, although Matara already had an established relationship with Gapp prior to them joining Rubix, selling its linear actuators with Gapp’s Delta drives and controls. The three Rubix MCA division companies will be highlighting their key products and services at Machine Building Live this October.
