Consistent pressure with one turn

New stainless steel functional fitting for the Eisele INOXLINE T

he new robust stainless steel pressure regulator from Eisele is designed for applications in aggressive

environments and industries with stringent cleaning requirements. Compact and user-friendly - the functional fitting simplifies compressed air supply in industrial and artisan applications. A completely new design from Eisele is the pressure

regulator made of stainless steel 1.4301, first presented at Hannover Messe 2019. It can be used as pressure reducer for supply pressures from 2 to 10 bar, and controls the outlet pressure to the consistent required working pressure. The screw-in fitting from the Eisele INOXLINE has a control pressure range from 2 to 8 bar and is designed for very fine adjustment with low fluctuation. In addition, the flow- optimised pressure regulator reduces the vibration behaviour of the control system, and it is also designed for quiet operation. The choice of high-quality materials facilitates cleaning. The Eisele pressure regulator is mounted with 1/8- inch threads and can be used for water and air applications.

Eisele  Everest XCR servo drive for robotics applications

otion Control Products, the Bournemouth based solutions provider for the automation market, has introduced the world’s smallest servo drive to the UK market. The Everest XCR is manufactured in Spain by Ingenia, who

provide state-of-the-art motion control technology that can be tailored to the specific needs of each application. Everest XCR is an ultra-compact, super smart, high-powered servo drive. Thanks to its small size and rugged design it can be mounted virtually anywhere: collaborative robot joints, wearable robots, unmanned ground or aerial vehicles as well as inside motors. Everest, however, is not only a servo drive. Everest also features the most advanced transistor technology in the world with the highest power density and efficiency while keeping negligible EMI and providing linear amplifier performance. With the current up to 60A and up to 80vdc inputs, it can offer the power up to 5kW.

Everest XCR highlights • Compact size: 29 X 42 X 22mm • Can drive extremely low inductance motors (100kHz switching frequency vs 20kHz standard) • Communications: CANopen, EtherCAT • Duel encoder feedback (For secondary encoder after gearbox) • Absolute BiSS & SSI supported + Incremental • Torque / Force feedback via analogue input force sensor • Motion Mode: torque control, velocity control and position control • Support motor type: AC/DC Brushless motors & Direct drive brushless motors • Environment: Industrial, Low temperature • High efficiency (up to 99% with optimised settings) • High bandwidth / response time • Filtering options available for optimised tuning

This servo drive has been tested with all major motor

manufacturers and can guarantee compatibility and is also network enabled for EtherCAT and CANopen. Motion Control Products Sales Director, Snir Benedik says

“Working with Ingenia has taken our servo drives offer to a new level. Their ability to produce bespoke solutions for specific applications gives our customers improved levels of flexibility in design.”

Interroll introduces new oil-free drum motor

Interroll is now introducing a new version of its oil-free drum motor based on the new and improved Interroll Drum Motor Platform

motors have been installed and are currently in use as a proven solution for many applications, in particular in the food industry. The oil-free drum motors now being introduced into the market are drum motors based on the new and improved Interroll Drum Motor Platform that has been on the market since 2017. Synchronous oil- free drum motors are by nature very efficient, which means less heat losses and a much higher power density, as opposed to asynchronous oil-free drum motors which are prone to overheating and power reduction and therefore loss in torque. Compared to standard drum motors, the oil-free

motor’s performance is only minimally impacted by the different type of lubrication. Also, compared to a standard asynchronous motor, oil-free synchronous motors are stronger and better performing. But they require a frequency inverter and speed and torque are slightly reduced compared to a standard synchronous

lready back in 2010 Interroll introduced the first oil- free drum motors. Since then, thousands of oil-free

motor lubricated with oil. However, high-speed applications are still possible if the belt pull force is sufficient. This is also true for low-speed applications. Typical oil-free motor applications include transportation and packaging of lightweight goods such as candy, chocolate or pralines.

No leakage issues in sensitive production processes Food manufacturers who have to comply with certain restrictions regarding food contamination benefit from this new option. Oil-free drum motors can be used for any application where the belt moves slowly (i.e., when the production process is in steps and accuracy is of paramount importance, like portioning and cutting for instance). When installed correctly, Interroll Drum Motors have no leakage issue.

thereby produce break-outs in control cabinets for KDSClick, KDS-FB, KDS-KV, and KES cable entries within a few minutes. The hydraulic hand pump contains no hose and features a user-friendly, compact design. It weighs only 2 kg. The hydraulic cylinder can be rotated and swiveled by 360° along three axes, allowing for flexible use even in hard-to-reach places. The punching tool includes round hole punchers for all diameters from M20 to M63 for KDS-KV separable cable glands and square and rectangular hole punchers for all KDSClick, KDS-FB, and KES cable entries as well as for 110 by 131 mm KDS-FP flange plates. In order to create a break-out in a sheet-metal enclosure, the hydraulically operated draw bolt is inserted in a bore hole. Next, stamp and matrix are fixed with counter nuts both on the inside and outside.

ONTA-CLIP now offers a combination of a hydraulic hand pump and sheet-metal punching tool. Users can
