Earlier this year, Bauer Gear Motor showcased its range of reliable and efficient geared motors for intralogistics applications at LogiMAT 2025 Stuttgart. Also available is the HiflexDRIVE, a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) available in both stainless-steel and aseptic-coated variants. This features a smooth exterior devoid of cooling elements, ensuring superior cleaning and resistance to contamination. Coupled with an IP69K rating, this means excellent suitability for washdowns. In operation, the PMSM design reduces heat losses from the rotor by 100% and total losses by 25%, while offering a 10% improvement in overall efficiency.
