switches: The UL-rated TM series forms the basis of many customised snap-in solutions for switches that are used in MCCBs to show that the MCCB has tripped. The single-pole, momentary-action


switches are rated at 15A at 250V AC and are available in SPST and SPDT configurations. Lower-current versions with gold-plated contacts are also available. Designers can specify both the operating force (three options) and the pivot position of the actuator, as well as the type of actuator (lever, lever roller, pin roller or simulated roller) to suit the mechanical needs of almost any application.


GROWING INTELLIGENCE MCCBs are becoming more intelligent and able to provide monitoring and management functions as part of Factory 4.0 installations. However, these thermal- electromechanical devices rely heavily on mechanical switches to perform vital functions such as setting key parameters and providing notification of tripping. IT’S TIME TO THINK ABOUT ENCLOSURE CLIMATE CONTROL


With outside temperatures dropping, you’ll probably no longer hear the alarms on your cooling units. But, while this is likely to mean you’re spending less time maintaining overheating panels, it would be a mistake to forget about climate control. This, however, is actually
