13.3-inch full hD TFT delivers impressive optical performance

isplay solutions and embedded systems provider Review Display Systems (RDS) has introduced a new
13.3-inch TFT display module from industrial display manufacturer Tianma. The P-series P1330FHF1MA00 features Full HD (FHD) resolution (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), a wide 16:9 aspect ratio and in-plane switching (IPS) technology which is said to provide excellent optical performance. Tianma P-series (Professional series) TFT
display modules have been designed and developed to deliver impressive optical performance and meet the demanding requirements of the industrial and medical display markets and applications where reliable and consistent operation is considered paramount. The 13.3-inch display features a contrast
ratio of 1000:1 and a white LED backlight, complete with integrated driver, provides a specified brightness rating of 1,000cd/m² and a 50K hour half-brightness lifetime. In-plane switching (IPS) technology enables a wide viewing angle of 88 degrees in all viewing directions (left, right and up, down). These key characteristics ensure that the 13.3-inch P- series TFT module produces display images that are bright, colourful, and highly consistent.

says: “The Tianma 13.3-inch P-series display offers a strong feature set that provides excellent optical performance and a colour gamut that delivers bright, saturated colour display images that can be easily seen from all viewing directions. P-series display modules have been specifically designed for use in a wide range of human-machine interface (HMI) applications where reliable, long- term operation in challenging application environments is required.” The 40-pin LVDS data interface supports
8-bit RGB which enables a colour palette of up to 16.7M colours. The 13.3-inch display module features mechanical outline dimensions of 308mm (w) x 188mm (h) x 10mm (d) and an active display area of 293.76mm (w) x 165.24mm (h). An operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C is supported. Tianma’s Professional-series TFT display
modules are suitable for many varied applications including industrial process control, factory automation, in-vehicle systems, instrumentation, point-of-sale systems, digital signage, and medical equipment.

8.4” TFT Display oFFering high brighTness anD inTegraTeD leD Driving boarD
LED driving board. The new DD-0840- XE11-C from DISTEC has been designed to replace the Mitsubishi AA084XE11. This came about after Mitsubishi announced all of their TFT displays would cease production in 2020. The 8.4” TFT-LCD module offers a brightness of 1,000cd/m2
D and a
resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. With a viewing angle of 160/160° making it easy to read content from all sides and comes with an operating temperature of -30°C to 80°C. Suitable for transportation, military
and instrumentation applications the 8.4” TFT is available now.

he new pixxiLCD graphic displays from 4D Systems are the ideal solution for easy integration. Due to the wide
range of options offered by the embedded displays, developers can find the right full- colour HMI for almost any application. The series is available at Rutronik UK. 4D LABS-configurable PIXXI-28 or
PIXXI-44 GPUs enable a variety of functions, including touch detection, microSD or serial flash memory, GPIO and ADC, with multiple millisecond timers, UART and I²C communication. The displays are offered in different
shapes and sizes, such as round (with 1.3”) or rectangular versions with 2”, 2.5” or 3.9”. In addition, depending on
the requirements of the application, there is a choice option between capacitive and non-touch displays. The pixxiLCD embedded graphic displays
have a standard 15-pin ribbon cable connector in 0.5mm pitch with ZIF socket interface, through which UART, I/O, I²C and the power supply with reset signals are led from/to the display. The 4D Workshop4 IDE developer software, which is compatible with all available pixxiLCD diplays, offers extensive possibilities for programming the system.
