Watchlog Wireless Sensor Transmitters

Watchlog Wireless Software for local sensor monitoring, logging & alerting or integrate to existing systems.

Watchlog Wireless Sensors, Software and Vision Cloud platform

Hydrotechnik’sWatchlog Wireless is a complete end-to-end solution for monitoring Pressure, Temperature, Flow, Displacement, Torque, Level etc. in a factory or mobile setting to get data from machinery to a local PC/on-site systems, or into the cloud for remote monitoring.

Watchlog Wireless transmitters are capable of pushing data from 800m up to 1.6Km, depending on the transmitter selected and the factory/asset environment. Up to 60 sensors of varying types can sit on the same local wireless network and accessed by a single gateway.

Gateways or receivers can be either local for monitoring performance within a factory setting directly on a PC or HMI, or gateways can push data directly into the cloud for long term monitoring and alerting/ alarming. When using a local PC, the free to use monitoring and trending software shows all sensors connected. A toolkit helps with locating transmitters and receivers if there is any local noise from other wireless equipment or machinery/devices. The toolkit helps when setting up a system and makes deployment reliable and robust.

Typical applications are where a company wishes to rapidly deploy sensors for monitoring critical assets such as Engines, Presses, Generators, Gearboxes, Jacking platforms and Silo Levels etc. where

laying cabling would be onerous, costly or time intensive. Wireless sensors can be moved from job to job if they are not required permanently in one location.

Hydrotechnik have gained a lot of experience in deployingWatchlog Wireless sensors and gateways in a whole array of settings. One interesting example is on major construction sites where excavated earth or structures need to be supported via hydraulic jacks. Watchlog sensors are deployed to monitor the hydraulic pressure in each jack as well as any linear displacement of the asset being supported. Data is pushed to ourWatchlog Vision cloud platform for long term monitoring however, the key to the success of these systems is the ability to set alarms if/when something changes. Engineers are alerted if the structure moves by fractions of a millimetre or jacking pressures drop below a set threshold. The Watchlog Vision cloud platform allows a company with multiple sites to switch easily and keep abreast of the performance of each location.

Wireless Sensors can be powered via AA or D cell batteries within the transmitters or a 5-30VDC supply, depending on the sensor and the data transmission rate battery life will be a minimum of 6 months but more typically is 2 years of continuous use. Data can be transmitted
