News E ENDRESS+HAUSER EXPANDS ITS PRESENCE IN THE US
ndress+Hauser opened two new facilities in the United States in June 2026. With these locations in Greenwood, Indiana, and Edgmont, Pennsylvania, the company is further expanding its presence in the country and strengthening its collaboration with regional sales and service representative partners. The inaugurations were attended by customers, partners, and employees, as well as state and local city representatives.
For CEO Peter Selders, the investments in the US. are part of the company’s long-term strategy: “With the new buildings, we are strengthening our local presence and ensuring we are close to our customers. In doing so, we are laying the foundation for sustainable growth.” President of the supervisory board Steven Endress added: “As a family-owned company, we stand for long- term thinking, reliability, and partnership-based collaboration – values that are also reflected in these construction projects.”
Endress+Hauser invested approximately $50.9 million in the new facility in Greenwood, Indiana. The facility also houses the new headquarters of long-standing sales and service representative partner George E. Booth Co., as well as modern office and workspaces for sales, service, project,
and solutions teams, and for the company’s central functions. The approximately 9,800-square-meter building brings together around 190 combined employees from both companies under one roof. An integrated Design and Innovation Studio specifically promotes the development of young talent in STEM fields and facilitates hands-on learning formats with a focus on collaboration with local educational institutions. Sustainable features such as a geothermal system, solar panels, rainwater management, and other eco-friendly measures underscore the commitment to energy-efficient construction. The building has been certified Gold under the LEED sustainability standard. Greenwood is the headquarters of Endress+Hauser USA. In addition to the U.S. sales center office, the campus also houses large production facilities for flow, level, pressure, and temperature measurement technologies. Endress+Hauser employs a total of nearly 670 people at the site, not including the 75 employees
of the sales and service representative partner office headed by George E. Booth Co. Together with its long-standing sales and service partner, Eastern Controls, LLC of PA, Endress+Hauser has also opened a new, approximately 8,200-square-meter facility in Edgmont, Pennsylvania, just west of Philadelphia. At this location, approximately 90 employees from both companies support customers from various industries with process measurement technology and automation solutions, thereby contributing to further growth in the region.
A key component is the expanded PTU (Process Training Unit) for hands-on training. In addition, the Northeast Community Career+Education Forum (CCEF), an annual event tailored to middle school students to foster collaboration between industry and educational institutions, will be held at the site in the future.

RENISHAW BROADENS GEOMETRIC MEASUREMENT CAPABILITIES FOR ITS XK20 ALIGNMENT LASER SYSTEM
enishaw has extended the capabilities of its XK20 alignment laser by introducing flatness and level measurement functionality to its CARTO XK20 app. This gives users additional tools to measure and adjust geometric errors during machine build and alignment, adding to the XK20 alignment laser’s existing measurement capabilities, which include straightness, parallelism and squareness. The new release of the CARTO XK20 app enables users to measure surface flatness and machine level, providing deeper insight into overall machine accuracy. These measurements are critical parameters in ensuring the performance and longevity of machine tools and stages, particularly in applications where precision and repeatability are essential.
measure a broader range of geometric features with a single system, reducing the need for multiple tools and improving efficiency.”
“The addition of flatness and level measurement in the CARTO XK20 app is a valuable enhancement for our customers,” said James Meaden, XK20 product expert at Renishaw. “It allows users to
Designed for ease of use, the CARTO XK20 app guides users through the measurement process and presents clear, actionable results. This latest release reflects Renishaw’s ongoing commitment to supporting customers with tools that simplify machine calibration and help improve productivity. By extending the functionality of the XK20 alignment laser system, Renishaw allows customers to gain a more complete understanding of their machine geometry and helps them maintain optimal performance with confidence.
