extensive panel debate programme that will cover a number of different topics. The two highlights of the panel debate program will be the Leaders of the Waste World panel and the Equality Panel. The Leaders of the Waste World Panel contains three of the most influential figures in the industry: David Palmer- Jones the CEO of Suez, Phil Piddington, managing director of Viridor, and Michael Topham, CEO at Biffa. Likewise, the Equality Panel is comprised


of a number of different experts from all walks of life. Chairing the Panel will be Beverley Simonson, the local authority support manager for the London Waste and Recycling Board. The panel will discuss equality and diversity in the resources industry, including the barriers women face in entering certain industries, the under representation of Asians in the waste industry, and what language should be adopted in order to make specific industries appear more appealing to all genders. This panel promises to be as eye opening as it is informative.
