New 300W is introduced to the RB Series, suitable for Factory Automation & Robotic Controller

T

he new RBC300F is suitable for factory automation and robotic controller applications. The new 300W

AC-DC open frame configurable power supply measures at 114x38.3x203mm and offers triple output with UART Communication Interface for monitoring & control of up to 49 commands (PMBus to follow).

The new RBC300F has 3 outputs, so no need for an

isolated transformer, the 3 outputs offer: 1. Output Slot 1 offers 240W with: 12V, 24V or 48V 2. Output Slot 2 offers up to 30W with configured outputs of: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 16.5V, 24V, 48V, ±12V, ±15V

3. Output Slot 3 offers up to 30W with outputs of: 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 16.5V, 24V, 48V

The RBC300F offers efficiency rating up to 92% and a

universal input voltage range of 85-264V. There are options to have conformal coating, remote on/off, low leakage current, external hold-up capacitor bank as well as further options for chassis/cover and terminal blocks.

• You know the kVA rating you require but which product do you need?

• Will it fit the space? • What is the maximum output current?

T

he Constant Power Services data wheel is designed for convenience,

simplicity and will arm you with the information you need to establish which Riello UPS you require, without searching through datasheets and catalogues.

A comparison across the ranges

enables you to make a quick informed decision.

This tool has been designed for

convenience and simplicity to aid Electrical contractors, facilities managers and customers will multiple sites to obtain the key information relating to the Riello UPS range and once the UPS required is identified the key components regarding dimensions, weight, heat outputs and maximum output currents etc can be built in to the specification of the project.

Constant Power Services are continually accessing our customers’ requirements for information and

developing tools and documentation to provide them the answers to their problems or queries. Constant Power Services

CP introduces new family of high-level lighting controls aimed at industrial premises

T

he new family of high bay presence detectors from CP Electronics provides enhanced energy savings through

precise light control and long-range detection capability. With a mounting height ranging from 5m to 20m, the 360° detection coverage remains the best in its category, with a detection range diameter of 30m for walks towards, and 40m for walk across when mounted at a height of 15m. The in-built five pyro design ensures detection of small movements, waving arms and nodding heads etc, with no compromise on design.

With a field of view of 60°, light is detected from all possible directions, allowing better interpretation of

the available amount of natural light in the environment. External positioning of the communication inputs also aids in better reception from the commissioning remote control up to a maximum mounting height of 20m, thus easing the setup and testing time.

24V DC UPS with integrated Li-Ion battery protects against plant downtime and data loss caused by power failures

T

he reliable and fail-safe DC power supply of embedded IPCs, controls, motor drives, sensors, measurement devices and safety technology is of fundamental importance in networked high-tech systems worldwide

and in almost all fields of application. Plant downtimes, system failures and loss of data can become risky and costly. By using intelligent DC UPS systems, this risk can be significantly minimized and the uninterruptible power supply and thus reliability is assured. For this purpose, the power supply specialist Bicker Elektronik, Donauwoerth / Germany, presents a particularly compact and durable solution with an excellent price-performance ratio: The new DC UPS module UPSI-2406DP1 with integrated Lithium-Ion backup battery, which bridges power failures, brownouts and flicker in the 24VDC power supply. Due to optimized power electronics, DC loads of up to 100 Watt can be safely bridged.

Yokogawa’s European Calibration Laboratory meets new

ISO17025:2017 standard Yokogawa reinforces its leadership position

with accreditation for higher frequency power measurements at up to 100 kHz.

Y

okogawa’s European

Calibration Laboratory has achieved accreditation to the latest revision of ISO 17025:2017 standard, for power measurements at up to 100 kHz. This accreditation offers quantifiable proof of the laboratory’s advanced calibration offering, ensuring users of the facility achieve the world’s most accurate measurement results from their power measurement equipment. It offers quality assurance and a trust in measurement results, allowing engineers to develop the next generation of technologies that combine energy efficiency with leading performance. The standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017, General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories, enables both Yokogawa’s European Standards Laboratory and its customers to demonstrate that they operate competently and generate valid measurement results, promoting confidence in their work both nationally and around the world. As a result, test reports and certificates can be

accepted from one country to another without the need for further testing.
