I know I say this every year, but the 2025 conference has a truly great line up. When I talk to the conference speakers ahead of the event, I always emphasise the importance of practical ideas and case studies, giving those who attend something that they can take away and implement – if not tomorrow, certainly in the near term. hat is terrific aout the World of Learning speakers is that they get that. They understand the need for pragmatism. Not only are they prepared to share their expertise and their experiences, they recognise that value is delivered to the conference delegates by providing actionable insights for L&D professionals whatever the industry, organisation or context in which they seek to improve people’s performance. Despite a changing landscape

and attendant uncertainty, it seems > At this year’s World of Learning,

Robin Hoyle invites L&D professionals to reflect, recharge and re-examine how they can support organisations, and their people, to successfully evolve in an ever-uncertain world

We need to u nderstand the f orces of change to respond ef f ectively
