The World of Learning Summit brightens February and provides a spark of anticipation in January. This year, as we gather at Olympia, we do so at a time of exciting opportunity or unsettling change (delete as appropriate).

As ever, World of Learning events prepare us for what is to come in the immediate future. This year I hope we will be engaged in making sense of what is going on and taking stock as 2025 unfolds. Of course we will discuss what we


are doing with Generative AI. There are sessions in the conference – and on the hibitin   hih ill hae d practice and, I hope, some salutary lessons from innovations that failed to set the world alight and roll outs that didn’t roll as far as anticipated.
