Christine Guyott FCSI, RDN Chair, FCSI The Americas

I

s I write my final introduction as TAD chair, I’m filled with

gratitude. Tis role has been one of the greatest honors of my professional life. Collaborating with colleagues from the EAME and APD divisions under the leadership of our president has been inspiring. Together, our shared commitment has challenged me to grow as a consultant, collaborator, and leader. Here in Te Americas, I’m

’ve been reflecting on the many people who have shaped our FCSI community

and, in turn, my own career. I think of the mentors who offered guidance when I was just finding my footing, the trailblazers who carved out divisions of FCSI in different corners of the world, and the new generation stepping up through EPiC to carry the torch forward. Tose early leaders built something remarkable from

filled with optimism. Under the leadership of our incoming TAD chair, Brent Hall, our division is poised for continued innovation. He’ll be supported by an exceptional executive board: Scott Reitano, secretary; Tarah Schroeder, treasurer; and Joe Schumaker, incoming chair. Tis talented team will guide TAD into an exciting new chapter. In TAD this quarter, from

education and fun in Cancun at the LatAm Summit in September, to the camaraderie

of the annual Golf Scramble & Crab Feast in August, these gatherings celebrate our shared passion for learning and connection. And the best is yet to come: mark your calendars for our 2026 Conference in Arizona, on April 23–26. Enjoy the final edition of the

year. And thank you to the 1473 Media team for continuing to create exciting content and for their continued support. Proof that together ‘We share, we support, we inspire’.

Tey established not only the framework for how we work, but also the spirit that drives us: a mix of curiosity, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to bettering the foodservice industry.

leadership is not about titles or tenure. It is about leaving the door open for others to step

through. Today, I see that same generosity in the next wave of consultants, who bring new perspectives, new energy, and a fresh understanding of what it means to lead. As we look to the year ahead,

I feel encouraged knowing that FCSI continues to grow in the right hands. Our future is bright, built on the wisdom of those who came before us and fueled by the passion of those who are only just beginning their journey.

s the year draws to a close, we reflect on a truly successful period for FCSI

EAME, marked by energy, education, and collaboration. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all our dedicated members and partners across the region; your commitment is the engine driving our success. A recent highlight of the

quarter was a highly successful HostMilano, which perfectly captured the industry’s rapidly accelerating evolution. Te

FCSI EAME booth, redesigned in a welcoming café style by Marilou Linders, proved to be an invaluable hub for networking and discussion. Te core takeaways from the event underscored the industry’s profound focus on two critical areas: sustainability and intelligent operations. Integrating sustainable products and processes emerged as a primary focus, closely followed by the display of game-changing digital products, including AI.
