Revamp is raising the bar


Award-winning Greedy Gordons announced one of its popular pubs, T e Red Lion in Cranford, is to undergo a major renovation. T e historic pub, part of the Greedy Gordons portfolio


of pubs and cuisine venues, will remain open while the extensive revamp takes place following a £100,000 investment by parent company Punch Pubs. T e Red Lion will also unveil its new al fresco dining


experience, T e Fat Crab and Cocktails, this May which will showcase sensational seafood selections and dishes for discerning diners. The totally immersive eating experience will see


delicious options, sourced from the sea, presented in a unique way on tables, with diners encouraged to indulge in an array of specialities including premium lobster, crab and other seafood delicacies.


Greedy Gordons Director, Richard Gordon, is thrilled to


bring this trending dining experience to the county. He said: “T is is such an incredible experience for our


guests and we are delighted to be able to showcase it here, in the heart of Northamptonshire. “It is so much fun and we provide everything, including


branded bibs. T ere is no better way to experience fresh seafood at its best, it is so authentic and enjoyable, and we know this will be a seafood showcase success.” Richard and the team travel to coastal Cromer to source


the very best seafood for this latest culinary venture and their team of experts have also created a cocktail menu of drinks with a diff erence. Richard said: “We have a Bloody Mary menu of


incredible cocktails complementing the amazing array of seafood we are presenting. T ere will be virgin options on off er as well and it helps to create a culinary spectacle like no other with classic and creative cocktails that include a crab or lobster claw. Everything is presented on the table for diners to tuck into, it’s a fantastic food experience for everyone to enjoy. “It is very much about the immersive and enjoyable


experience and we are excited to bring this to Northamptonshire in a unique way for the fi rst time.”
